Medical Records Management Job Responsibilities

• Maintain, organize, and update patient information and health records within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) and document management systems.
• Review incoming medical documentation (test results, physician notes, referrals) for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Process requests for patient medical records from patients, providers, and authorized third parties in accordance with HIPAA and all applicable privacy laws.
• Assist healthcare providers by ensuring all relevant documentation is easily accessible, up-to-date, and appropriately filed.
• Monitor, audit, and reconcile medical records to support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
