Medical Scheduler
We are looking for a Medical Scheduler with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to manage high-volume appointment scheduling across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will handle patient communications, ensure accurate medical documentation, and maintain fully optimized schedules in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage a high volume of approximately 70+ inbound and outbound calls daily from patients and referring sources (law firms, insurance companies, doctors, etc.)
Schedule 50+ daily appointments to meet operational requirements
Proactively identify and fill schedule gaps across 11 locations, ensuring near 100% schedule utilization for the upcoming 7 days
Review patient paperwork prior to scheduling to ensure all required clinical documentation is complete and properly uploaded
Create and update patient profiles with accurate demographic, insurance, and lien information
Maintain and update electronic medical records with precision and consistency
Ensure full understanding of each location’s modalities, equipment limitations, and provider preferences
Provide accurate and professional communication to patients and external partners throughout the scheduling process.
Requirements:
English level B2 or above
1+ years of experience in a high-volume call center or BPO environment
Experience with U.S. medical insurance preferred (not required)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
