Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Lien Negotiator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and negotiating the resolution of liens on properties or accounts. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as a solid understanding of liens, legal processes, and real estate or medical billing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and review public records and title reports to identify existing liens on properties or accounts.
• Negotiate lien reductions, satisfactions, or settlements to facilitate property sales, debt resolution, or legal settlements.
• Coordinate with title companies, attorneys, real estate agents, and other parties to ensure timely lien resolution.
• Prepare and submit documentation to confirm the release or satisfaction of liens.
• Monitor deadlines and compliance with settlement agreements or legal requirements.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Knowledge of lien types, legal terminology, and property/title processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant CRM or title systems.
• Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
