Medical Records
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Medical Records to join our healthcare team fully remotely
In this role, you will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining patient medical records with a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
This position supports clinicians and administrative staff by ensuring patient documentation is complete and up to date.
Responsibilities
Organize, update, and maintain electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) on a daily basis.
Ensure all patient information is complete, accurate, and up to date.
Scan, upload, and categorize medical documents into the appropriate systems.
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other privacy regulations to protect patient data.
Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
Support quality assurance and data integrity audits within medical records systems.
Assist with record retrieval for authorized clinical use or billing and documentation needs.
Requirements
Medical Degree
Previous experience with medical records or in a healthcare administrative role is preferred (1+ year).
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare privacy laws.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently from home with minimal supervision.
Comfortable navigating EHR/EMR systems and document management software.
Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.
